THE COGNITIVE ARTS RESISTANCE

COGNITIVE ARTS RESISTANCE

The Architect of Resistance

From Director of Automation to Cognitive Performance Coach

I spent 14 months finding the signal in the noise.

From the remote, rugged wilderness of the Upper Peninsula to the stark, unforgiving deserts of Arizona, I used the canvas as my laboratory. I realized that painting isn't just an art form—it is a Cognitive Gym. It is the ultimate training ground for the mental muscles that AI cannot simulate.

The Mission: Cognitive Arts Resistance (CAR)

I founded the Cognitive Arts Resistance to equip professionals with a defensive strategy for the automated age. By merging engineering’s analytical rigor with the deep observational demands of Plein Air painting, I help leaders and teams reclaim their "Human Edge."

We don't paint for leisure. We train for survival.

Through the Strategic Perception Protocol, I provide the technical drills and strategic frameworks needed to rebuild:

  • The Nuance Filter: To reject the "lazy label" and find the hidden data.

  • Decisive Intuition: To lead with confidence when data is incomplete.

  • Flow Stamina: To reclaim the rare superpower of sustained focus.

  • Environmental Intelligence: To integrate shifting sensory data into a single solution.

The world is automating. It’s time to train the irreplaceable.

In December 2024, I walked away from my career as a Director of Automation. After twenty years of building systems designed to optimize efficiency, I saw a growing, invisible crisis: our workforce is becoming "skill-blunted" by the very technology built to assist us.

When we rely on algorithms to provide the "most likely" answer, we stop seeing. We lose our ability to process nuance, make rapid gut-call decisions, and maintain deep, strategic focus. We are becoming low-context processors in a high-stakes world.
